Come learn more about the lives of early settlers in the Des Plaines area and try out some pioneer skills of your own, like churning butter and crafting punched tin lanterns!

Hands-On History is a monthly children’s program series meant to invite public participation and interaction with a broad range of historical topics per the History Center’s mission. All children ages 5-12 and their families are invited to attend the program on Wednesday, March 1st starting at 1:30 pm and again on Sunday, March 5th at 1:30 pm.
