Hands-on History for Kids - "History and Wildlife: Stories with Kathryn Lentz"

Join local children’s author Kathryn Lentz at the History Center to learn more about animals and nature as we read her book “Gramps the Awesome Otter” together and do a fun craft!

Registration is required to attend "History and Wildlife: Stories with Kathryn Lentz" and for all Hands-on History for Kids programs moving forward. To register, please call 847-391-5399 or email contact@desplaineshistory.org. Any day-of availability will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

This program is free of charge due to the generosity of our sponsors. Donations are appreciated. The Des Plaines History Center is located at 781 Pearson Street, Des Plaines IL 60016. Hands-On History is a monthly children’s program series meant to invite public participation and interaction with a broad range of historical topics per the History Center’s mission.
