Scratchboard is a way of creating engravings where the artist scrapes away a dark layer of ink to reveal a colored layer below, creating beautifully detailed and precise pieces of art. Surrounded by works by artist Kathy Passi, we’re exploring scratchboard technique with a demonstration and a fantastic scratchboard art activity!

Geared toward children ages 5-12.
