Holiday Open House at the Des Plaines History Center

Make the season brighter by attending a Members and Community Appreciation Holiday Open House Sunday, December 21, from 2-4:30 p.m. at the Des Plaines History Center, 781 Pearson Street. Everyone is invited to enjoy some refreshments, merry music, and a tour of the first and second floors of the Kinder House. In addition, guests are welcome to bring in canned goods, which will be donated to the Self Help Closet and Pantry of Des Plaines.

“Come in and enjoy this early-winter’s gathering of warmth, good cheer, and friendly conversation at the History Center,” said Shari Caine, executive director of the History Center. “For anyone who hasn’t had an opportunity to see our historic exhibits or take a tour the Kinder House this year, now is a great time to join us as our guests at this annual holiday event.”

While at the History Center, visitors are welcome to view the travel exhibit, “Greetings from Des Plaines.”
