The Maid's Room
Since most of the maid’s work was in the back of the house, the back staircase helped her move efficiently. It also kept her out of the way of the family in the front rooms.
The maid’s room is the smallest bedroom of the original five, but it is not cramped quarters. Just like the other bedrooms, it has a closet.
